Joyed Up is a global, faith-driven community committed to helping individuals experience healing, clarity, and transcendental performance through the JOY of the Lord.
What began as a message has grown into a movement — creating safe spaces across cities and nations where people can unburden, rediscover themselves, and rise above life’s challenges.
Our Story
Joyed Up started in Ibadan, Nigeria, as a book — Blue Skies, Red Seas: Stay Joyed Up — co-authored by Bolu and Lanre Onasanya and launched on our wedding day. We started writing in December 2025. On the 23rd of July, 2026, we launched the book, along with a FREE devotional called Joyed Up Devotional as well as a Journal for expressive writing called My Book of Psalms. What began as pages soon became people.
On the 11th February 2017, we held the first Joyed Up Conference in Sango, Ibadan. The second held on the 16th November, 2017, with Music Minister Nosa. The conferences have been held annually since then.
From early conferences in Ibadan to Joy Meetings in Lagos, and now gatherings (Joy Meetings and Joyed Up Conferences) in cities like London, Dublin, Nairobi, Paris, Ankara, and Berlin, Joyed Up has evolved into a global expression of healing, growth, and community.
Over the years, we have directly impacted thousands of lives through conferences, meetings, radio programs, and digital platforms — helping individuals navigate mental and emotional challenges while embracing purpose and JOY.
